Brook Farm Lake 1st comp of the year (21/06/2026)
Just finished the first Brook Farm Lake comp of the year.

Started off with a quick over night (20/05/2026)
Jake got to the lake at about 10am, for a quick over night and started hus normal routine, the walk round the lake and see if he can find the fish. Saw some fish in Long View’s water and also by the reeds in Hollys so decided to setup in Long View. Got sorted out and got the rods on the spots. The first fish was soon to fall to Jake’s trap by the reeds. Landed a really dark Tench at 7lb, rod back on the spot hoping for another fish. A quick call to work he got the Monday off work, re baited with his normal particle mix and some chopped and whole boiling. The extra day soon paid off, he was treated to another one of the lakes known fish, a carp called Chicken that came in at 21lb. The day saw a few carp boshing out around the lake but his rods sat quite for the day. Later the evening the was off and a second, tench of the session was soon in the net, this was the last fish of the session
